When Buddha Met Krishna
He went looking for answers. They gave him questions.
He worries about a message that does not arrive.
He wants to be good at his work, but cannot stop seeking approval.
He loves his family, yet keeps trying to protect them from problems that belong to them.
He wants the woman he loves to stay, even when her life asks her to leave.
He wants to make the right choices.
He wants to know that he is enough.
And beneath all of it is a quieter question he has never learned to ask:
Who am I?
Then, beside a river, he meets Buddha and Krishna.
One asks him to look carefully at what he experiences before turning it into certainty. The other reminds him that life cannot be postponed until certainty arrives. Between them, he begins to examine desire, attachment, ambition, responsibility, love, family, loss, choice, and the strange identities we mistake for ourselves.
But Buddha does not give him the certainty he wants.
Krishna does not give him a perfect answer either.
Instead, the questions become harder.
When Buddha Met Krishna is a philosophical novel about an ordinary man confronting extraordinary questions. It moves between the intimate struggles of everyday life and some of the oldest questions human beings have asked about desire, identity, reality, responsibility, and the self.
It is not a book about choosing Buddha over Krishna.
It is about what happens when you stop demanding that either of them choose for you.
Because sometimes the most honest answer is not an answer at all.
It is the courage to keep living with the question.
